Kristin Leigh Bean Lemmert, Head Wordsmith invented her first word – "gravity-ing" – at the age of six. She’s since invented many other words not intended for polite conversation, and fashioned herself a career as a marketing writer. Kristin has worked for a political campaign, several nonprofit organizations, a government agency, and a law firm. She’s written speeches and articles for members of Congress, federal agencies, county executives, company presidents, nonprofit executives and board members, attorneys, and managers. She has extensive experience drafting proposals, creating brochures, crafting ad and web site copy, writing and editing articles for publication, and handling media relations. Kristin is known for her high energy, creative approach to communications - one of her contacts calls her "an ad writer at heart" - and her inability to bake desserts. She loves good writing, tight deadlines, and strong hot tea.
After more than a decade in the Big City, she now resides in a mountain town in Maryland where traffic lasts for five minutes.
